Our CMO, Jane Ricciardelli, provided an excellent introductory blog about our attendance and sponsorship of the upcoming IBM Amplify event, a great pre-cursor for me penning this blog.
I always look forward to attending these key industry events which allow me the opportunity to network with other like-minded professionals, and keep my finger on the pulse of the latest and greatest technologies and trends in the market.
I have a special affinity towards this event however. Perhaps it’s because I’m an ex-IBM’er (although they say once you’re an IBM’er, you’re one for life). Perhaps it’s because we – Exchange Solutions – are playing such an integral role in this particular industry event (we are Gold Sponsors after all). Perhaps it’s because I have the privilege of presenting along with one of IBM’s Product Managers, Ronan O’Donovan (see below for session details). Or maybe it’s because it will be an historic moment for Exchange Solutions – when we will officially be launching Smarter Loyalty for IBM® Commerce, the only customer loyalty and engagement solution validated as “Ready for Smarter Commerce” for the WebSphere® Commerce platform.
IBM’s clients use WebSphere Commerce to provide their customers with an e-commerce experience that delivers a seamless and consistent omni-channel shopping environment. As an IBM Partner, Exchange Solutions will be enhancing this core product offering with customer loyalty and customer engagement capabilities that will help IBM clients deepen their customer spend across all their channels of interaction. In a world where “the customer is king”, building customer engagement is no longer a marketing after-thought, but a top corporate objective. I am proud that we at Exchange Solutions are the select business partner that will be supplying IBM clients with those all-important capabilities. This launch will continue to be abuzz for us here at Exchange Solutions for the considerable future.
